한달전인가... 위대한 쇼맨이라는 영화를 보았다. 그리고 나는 그 기간동안 비트코인에 빠져있었다. 

물론 엄청난 돈을 쓴것도 아니고, 다행이 이득을 보았지만, 쉽게 돈을 버는 것에 눈을 멀어버렸다.

이 노래를 들으면서, 결심했다. 다시는 이런 성공에 내 눈의 빛을 빼앗기리 않으리...

작은 돈이 2배, 3배, 4배 되는 모습들을 보면서 나는 환호했다.

그리고 나는 내가 하고 싶은 것, 내가 하고 싶은 꿈, 내가 하고 싶은 목표와 단계들을 무시하며,

나의 노력과는 무관한 일확천금에 내 인생에 의미를 더 부여하게 되었다.

쉽게 버는 돈에 대해서 공부하기 시작했으며, 결국 인생에서 돈이 가장 중요한 것처럼 살게되었다.

그렇게 살아서 행복해지고, 돈을 엄청 많이 벌게 되었다면 좋았겠지만,

불행하게도 나는 나의 행복을 잃어버리고, 그렇다고 엄청난 돈을 벌게 된 것도 아니었다.

나는 많은 것을 짧은 시간에 잃어버리게 되었다.

내 삶의 생산성과 노력 그리고 과정들은 사라졌으며, 

비트코인에 단타를 쳐서 이익을 보는 것만이 가장 중요한 삶의 목적이 되어 있었다. 

그리고 어제 내 아내와의 대화에서 나는 많은 것을 느끼고 배울 수 있었다. 어느덧 세상적인 가치관과

세상적인 관점 그리고 목표와 달성만을 위해 달려왔던 것을 알 수 있었다. 집에 와서 봤던 동행이라는 

프로그램에서 내가 목표하는 것을 달성한다고 해서 그들에게 행복과 기회를 줄 수 없으리란걸 느꼈다.
